Our objective is to be patterned after the teaching God has revealed in the New Testament.  We are a congregation with no head but Christ (Ephesians 5:23) and no creed but His Word as revealed in the Bible (Galatians 1:8-9).  In coming together, we strive to “encourage one another to love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24-25).  We are independent from any other group, but we desire a unity of faith with all those everywhere who “walk in the light as He is in the light” (I John 1:7).  We want to draw closer to each other, to you, and to the Lord.  Our aim is to glorify God by exalting Christ in our lives and by teaching others as we humbly serve Him.

Church Street Church of Christ began an extensive renovation in September 2011. The auditorium now has a comprehensive new appearance. Some of the improvements include:

• New walnut pews with color coordinated fabric
• New carpet
• New paint coordinating with the pews and tile
• Pulpit area lowered with accessibility from any point on the floor
• Columns added to wings and pulpit area
• Roll up doors removed
• Ceiling lowered and new lighting installed
• Stained glass windows hung strategically on walls
• PowerPoint presentation capability
